pros:
This is an excellent product and i use it daily, and in fact have been using this product for the last 10 years. It works excellently with facial soap and moisturising gel.

pros:
I was sceptical about using the product as it seemed 'harsh' On using it I found my complection has improved a lot,so I brought the large size this time!-no more mature spotty skin-good enough for me!

pros:
This is great, it makes my skin feel fresh and extra clean and means ready for moisturiser and then make up if wanted. No more dry skin or unsightly patches in foundation as toned and gently exfoliated.

pros:
When I first started using Clinique I used the one for extra sensitive skin but found this was not working so I got this one instead. It does smell but to me it is only one small flaw in such an excellent skin care routine to follow.

I'm a lover of Clinique in general, their products just work really well for my skin, this is definitely one of my favourites though.My skin is probably more of a type 2 I.e. normal to dry combination, however it drys out extremely badly if I use the wrong products, I tryed the number 2 lotion and although it was also a great product it was a little harsh on my sensitive skin and made me quite dry, the number one is perfect!! My face feels extremely clean but comfortable and glowing!! I would recommend this product to anyone!I made the silly mistake of moving away from my Clinique products for a while and my skin has definitely not thanked me for it!! I'm now going back to what I know works for me!!! My skin never looks better then when I use my three step system!!

I've come back to Clinique after a few years away and I'm glad I did, especially after the revelation that my skin (which for years I thought was still greasy and teenage despite my advancing years) is actually dry and breaks out because the products I was using were way too harsh. Duh! This clarifying lotion is lovely. It leaves my skin feeling fresh but not stripped like my old products and the difference is noticeable even after just a couple of days. I'm still working out the best regime for my skin but this is already a firm favourite :)

Recently discovered my skin is dryer than I had thought, having used step 2 for years. when I initially used this I was quite surprised, as it is so gentle on the skin, I really didnt think it was cleaning as well as step 2, but it certainly is. very happy. No break outs

pros:
Toning lotion was the always the step I skipped in my routine - with very dry skin I thought it was better to just cleanse and moisturise. But this lotion really helped reduce the flakiness and redness I suffer on around my cheeks. Definitely a difference maker!
