THE MOST VERSATILE LINER EVER

As a man who used to be a new romantic in the 80s and beyond, and still wears make-up to this day, I've tried many different eye liners. Then I tried this one and it's fantastic. Really easy to apply, though I lost the mini brush and had to buy another. I not only use it as a liner but an eye shadow base. Stays put and really doesn't run.Love it !

Desert Island Must-Have!

pros:

I have 3 of these eye-liners, in dark brown, black honey & true black, and makeup-wise they are 3 of the best purchases I've ever made.The brush is perfect for tiny fine lining or for thicker 60's style wings. The colour lasts all day, and there's tons of product in the little pot which makes it really good value for money.The only downside is I wish Clinique would bring out a range of these liners in more vibrant colours.

pros:

I did not think I would be able to wear eye liner again due to the sensitivity of my eyes. I have been using this for a little over a week and so far have had no bad reaction to it. I purchased smoke grey which is a great colour, the liner itself goes on smoothly and lasts for hours. This is really reasonably priced considering the amount of liner you get, it will last along time.

Why oh why didn't I discover this before? This is amazing! I love itBeen using eyeliner for 25 years or so and never come across such a wonderful product. It is so easy to apply and looks really rich and professional. It lasts for ages too! Didn't have to retouch it all day, AND it was still there in the morning! Looking perfect! I know I should rmove it nightly, but I don't!!! Never have, and I'm not starting now!

pros:

This product is fab! I love the smoky dark eyed look and had been trying for months to line my eye with a kohl pencil, but i never seemed to get the right effect as it wasnt dark enough and smudged so easily. This product is so easy to use and comes with a brilliant little brush to apply it with. Once applied it lasts all day and doesnt fade or smudge but is easily removed with a cleanser or make-up remover at the end of the day.

i was so looking forward to using this eye liner after reading the reviews. i found it very pale and more like an eye shadow. i love clinique but unfortunately have bought in error a couple times on line now and with hindsight i would have been better to buy in store to have seen tester first. i shall persist and did wear it for a posh night out with other products but didn't really get the effect i thought it would deliver

Have used this liner ever since it was recommended to me by a store assistent from a different brand 3 years ago. I asked which liner to get which was a true black and wouldn't smudge within 2 minutes of wearing and found this magic pot. Stays exactly where you apply it, a real black and I don't have to take the pot with me on a night out, just touch up with a little pencil liner.Not so much learning to use the brush, a little getting used to but really not difficult. Love the brush it comes with in fact... shame I can't seem to replace it?

Love the look it gives, really easy to apply for professional look. Sometimes I just put on a natural colour eye shadow all over my eyelid and simply line my eyes with this. Or go for a vintage look! I bought black honey, it's a rich brown. Really easy to apply and doesn't drag on application. Very easy to apply, it's a soft cream which comes with a litle applicator brush. The colour is buildable and not harsh on application. It has good staying power, and doesn't shift throughout day.I would purchase this againI would recommend it to others

pros:

This is quite easy to apply with the little brush and easy to correct if you make a mistake, which is a real bonus as many of the other products I've used don't. It looks really effective and stays on all day and evening. The pot is quite small but given the small amount you need to use I'm pretty sure it will last a very long time. I bought the black and it is VERY dark, maybe even too dark, so I'm thinking of getting a different shade.

Its tricky to get used to using the brush and I use an old fibre tip liner to get a very fine line on the top lashes, but its better when you get used to it. Good consistency, glides on well, and very, very dark!

pros:

I'm a huge eyeliner fan especially black I've always worn it but its finding the right one! This is great because you can get it right up to the lash line and apply fine lines due to the small precision brush which i find hard to do with an eyeliner pencil, lasts all day, doesn't wipe off easy and its a nice bold color! My favorite so far and I've used it everyday since i bought it! Thank you Clinique!

pros:

I always found that by the end of the day my liquid (or pencil liner) had managed to make its way under my eyes making me look awful! But this stuff is amazing! I got to 5ml pot, black, and it lasts so long!!! Easy to apply, unless you want a very thin line, then it could be tricky (do able) but you'd probably need a cotton bud to clear bumps from it!

This is amazing. I have never got on with eyeliners, they always end up half way down my face after just a few hours! But this stays put from morning til night. Once dry it doesn't smudge yet comes off easily with the Clinique eye make up remover. Using the brush you can apply it as thickly or thinly as you like.
