pros:
I have tried lots of different eye shadows and find that most of them have disappeared by lunchtime. Clinique shadows are pigment rich, easy to use and last and last, easily looking as good at the end of the day as they did at the start.

i paid for this item as you get three shades but none of the shades were very noticable even when putting alot of the shadow on the brush.so don't buy this unless you want nude look

The colours are perfect for me. I have hazel eyes and some browns can be too dark. This blends beautifully, not too glittery and this suits my 50 yr old eyes

pros:
I bought the Come Heather trio as I wanted to create a purple smokey eye, but I was so disappointed to find that even if I layered the eyeshadows multiple times, I couldn't build up much pigment.However, I tried it wet and OMG - it is wonderful. The pigment really comes out of the colours and the best part is when it dries, the intensity of the colour stays.Great eyeshadow trio, but needs to be used wet for me to like the result.

Colours not as expected

pros:
I loved the colour palette but the colours are very different when applied to the eyes. When applied, the pale mauve isn't intense enough and you can't really see it; the dark purple seems to lose its vibrancy and looks more like a sludgy grey. I found I had to keep applying it in layers to try and build up the intensity. Compared with other Clinique eye shadows I use, I was very disappointed.

pros:
excellent value product, does exactly what it says, goes on easily and smoothly, and blends perfectly. I was very pleased with the results. Even though I'm no longer a young woman I still enjoy experimenting with make-up and this made it easy to get a good modern look but without looking "overdone". I blended using my finger but the applicator provided was equally easy and effective.

does not stay on eye lids for long you have to top up repeatedly not worth the money as cheaper makes stay on longer
