pros:
I've been trialling a sample of this for two days now. I chose colour 01 as I'm very pale, but sadly, like most base colours of late, it is a tad too dark and oxidises on me quite quickly to become rather orange. Unlike most new bases I have tried it does not sting, so that is a big plus. It has a 'waxy' texture once settled and lightly powdered. I have almost 51 yr old skin which is showing some signs of ageing, but is still rather combination. I was hoping to find a good base which can address those concerns as I can no longer purchase THE best base of all time (Clinique Clarifying Make Up) as I can't even purchase it from the US any more. That was and is perfect for me even at this great age, and very flattering, so I still have that benchmark to measure any new base against. I find this Repair Wear Laser sinks into pores which are not visible with bare clean skin or using my Clarifying base, and they become more pronounced as my skin warms up over the course of the day. I also find this base slips into lines more readily, as I suppose most liquid bases are inclined to do, but overall it means I look older and shinier and less groomed. By lunchtime it's really 'had it' and would need a good 're-touch' session to rescue the look. I imagine very very dry skins might fare better with this, but I'd imagine you might want a powder finish to set things otherwise it does seem to slip a bit. My eyes didn't like it very much, not that everyone will use base close to their eyes I suppose, but it seemed to make the under eye area look more puffy for some reason: though part of that may have been the sheen from it which I don't get with my preferred base/ concealer combo. It's not a bad product at all. I suspect some with the right skin will find it their Holy Grail, but for those of us who are older, have age related concerns to address and still have oil issues in some areas this probably wouldn't be first choice.I still live in hope Clinique will bring back their tube vers

I tried a sample of this in the palest shade, after Repair Wear foundation in Alabaster Breeze was discontinued.I had high hopes, though could tell the shade was still too dark.It doesn't have the coverage of Repair Wear and has a dewy finish. I don't think it will last long without touching up.I don't think I will buy it because it's too dark.I don't know what Clinique is doing at the monent discontinuing so may pale shades in all their foundations.

Ive used the original repairwear for about two years now.It has great coverage and is long lasting. This new repairwear laser focus compares poorly. It has a very oily consistency (which did give a radiant look to my skin) but the coverage was medium and it didnt last very long. Im very disapointed that they have discontinued the original repairwear and will now have to once again search for a foundation that is long lasting with good coverage. To be honest,I might stray from clinique becasue Im quite fed up with them discontinuing their lines.

Felt compelled to write after all the moany reviews.I actually think this product has IMPROVED and is super moisturising aswell as offering fantastic cover. Number 3 is a great colour and lasts for many hours, though I seal lightly with a powder, as any decent make up artist will tell you.

The whole reason for using repairwear was because of the full coverage and long-lasting.This new re-launch is no where near as good coverage- plus it more expensive. Please do not stop making repairwear.

Great product - once set in after an hour of wear your skin is creamy and luminous with no shine and good coverage. Why someone would give it 1 star because they cannot stand change is beyond me. Compared to other foundations on the market this is a 5 star product!!

pros:
this product looks great if time is taken to apply properly (can look patchy). I use a powder to set the foundation and find that gives a flawless finish. The old repairwear used to sink into my pores/lines but i find this one conceals them better and when applied well they are nearly invisible. Have only been using this product for a few days but so far liking results! however i do think there isnt enough coverage as some blemishes are still visible. Overall I think this is a high quality foundation.

After buying up every last bottle of dewy smooth before it was discontinued I am now searching for another foundation that is kind to my dry skin and gives good coverage as I have quite a ruddy complexion...... and no redness solutions was awful and not for me at all.So I tried repairwear no 08..... gorgeous consistencey, thick and smooth. Good coverage and beautiful dewy finish. This will be a great foundation for winter though I think it could be a little too shiney on a hot day!

pros:
Shade 12 was recommended as part of a consultation at Clinique counter, however the colour is too golden and the coverage is not great, within a couple of hours it had slide off (even though I used with clinique powder). I previously used repairwear anti-aging 'nutty' and that had great coverage as its medium to full coverage and perfect colour for me as I am mixed race. Loved that foundation but it has been discontinued in that colour, I'm happy to change but need something as good as and sadly this latest product does not live up to expectations, although I appreciate others may like it.

Not impressed with this product at all. Very thin compared to the original Repairwear, need to apply alot more product but I still found that by later in the day my make had become patchy (not a good look). Really did not give a smooth coverage at all. Clinique - please stop discontinuing fantastic products - keep the original Repairwear - please listen to your customers.

I bought this today while my daughter was buying a Clinique product. I've never used Clinique foundation before and rarely wear any foundation at all - although I di need it at my age. This looks lovely and dewy - soft - on my skin and there is a definite improvement in my appearance.

I had no idea they discontinued the spf Repairwear quelle horreur. I was about to buy this one today but already saw on the shop assistants hand this was not covering like the old one did. Reading the other reviews confirm my thoughts on this product. would be nice if there was a substitute that has the same coverage as the old one, no idea how Clinique could think this could replace the old one this is stressing me out

I'm so very, very disappointed with the new Rapairwear Laser Focus foundation that I've been told is replacing the old brilliant Repairwear. The new Laser Focus one is thin, runny, non-lasting and a very poor colour match. I can't tell you how sad and worried I am. I have now got to try and find another long lasting foundation and will probably leave Clinique as I can't believe they can stop selling such a good product as the old Repairwear. The old product gave very full coverage and was long lasting whereas even using 2 layers of the new stuff I can't get any of it to adhere to my face and my skin shines straight through. People keep telling me I look tired and unwell. Thanks a bunch Clinique!? Please keep producing the brilliant, tried and trusted old Repairwear - else I think you'll be losing a lot of very dissatissfied customers.

having been a very happy and satisfied dewy smooth customer for many years, what a disappointment to be sold repairwear laser focus foundation as a replacement, it is very watery and looks and feels like a cheap brand of make up. Not recommended and am now looking to other companies for foundations that do what they are meant to do, give coverage, not laser focus, what ever that means?

Along with others posting here I’m very disappointed with the new Repair Wear Foundation.Compared to the former Repair Ware the coverage is next to nothing, it is more like a tinted moisturiser than a foundation. The lightest shade in the old Repair Ware has already been discontinued and the lightest shade of new Repair Ware just leaves a greasy orange slick across my very pale skin.I would have imagined that sensitive skin, prone to redness was a common problem with ‘Celtic’ type pale complexions such as mine and that there would be a demand for a foundation with good coverage, in a very pale colour, so am surprised that these lines have been discontinued.

For the first time in my life I have found a shade of foundation which suits my colouring. Shade No 3 is perfect and after a lifetime of searching (50 + years) for a good match with a good consistency I think this is it. Doesn't look like a mask or show up pores, no powdery look, just natural looking skin, only better. Hope Clinique continue with this one and dont replace it with another some time down the line.

Why did they stop the old Repairwear? I have just bought the new Laser repairwear and am VERY disappointed. It's too runny, weak and doesn't hide my breakouts as Repairwear did. I loved the old Repairwear brand and thought this would be similar, but both the texture and colours have completely changed. I suspect this product is cheaper to make. I am now having to hunt for another brand that makes a foundation similar to the old Repairwear.

After using Clinique's Soft Finish foundation for many years (which has long been discontinued) I decided to give this a go. Unfortunately as a type 1 skin, this product did not suit at all, I found the product extremely runny and did not offer a reasonable coverage. Please Clinique, can you bring Soft Finish back as this is an extremely poor substitute and your customers will have no option but to go elsewhere!

I liked the coverage this offered, but it is quite dry and did pull on the skin as you apply it (particularly uncomfortable around the delicate eye skin), so I tend to use it selectively to even out skin tone, rather than for complete coverage.

I am actually very upset that clinique have discontinued both dewy smooth and the old repairwear... no other foundations even come close to them and this one is no different! Its very thin in comparison with the old repairwear which was perfect. Clinique you need to listen to your customers! i loved the heavier coverage foundations clinique used to do..but now all clinique foundations are too thin. This has done nothing for my confidence. Please introduce a heavier coverage foundation!

Clinique should read this reviews and take action. This Laser Repairwork is hopeless - no coverage what so ever, just gave me a very shiny face. I looked better without any foundation on.Why have the other Repairwork pale shades been discontinued? Is no one allowed to be pale anymore?I will take this back and ask for a refund. It is totally useless.
