pros:

I'm desperately searching for a foundation to replce the Stay-True foundation that Clinique have discontinued. This was suggested by the Clinique consultant. However, I don't find it that good. It doesn't provide much coverage and unless your skin is pretty much perfect already, I don't think it's going to do much for you! I don't like the texture, it almost feels sticky and once applied, it has a slight sheen - no good for people with oily skin! This slips off by lunchtime, so I'm really disappointed with this purchase.

A natural looking foundation.

I have oily, blemished skin and due to hating my skin I purchased this foundation as my first 'high end brand' around 2 years ago. The great thing about higher end make up/skincare is that they have their own counters and the ladies are always very helpful and they find your perfect match for what you want your foundation to do and also the colour. I told the lady I wanted a foundation that was natural looking yet also hid my blemishes and she came up with this one. I received a free sample of the product and went away and tried it for a week before I rushed back and brought it.This foundation mattified my skin and also covered my blemishes well. It went on smoothly and was easy to blend. It didn't look cakey and it didn't turn me orange, and the best thing about this foundation? It looked and felt as if I had no make up on at all which made my confidence soar and left my skin looking flawless. Due to having blemished skin I was hoping that this foundation wouldn't make me break out and luckily it didn't which is natural to Clinique products.I would highly recommend this product.

pros:

I first bought this when I was in New York. I didn't even know it existed over here as every consultant I spoke to always recommended superfit to me. Well, I'll never go back to using superfit again. I've found perfectly real to be the only foundation that stays on all day and without changing colour. It's easy to apply and my skin looks flawless even when I have blemishes. Please don't ever discontinue this foundation Clinique.

pros:

I was wary of buying a foundation over the internet, as I was sure I'd pick the wrong shade. However, luckily the shade that arrived was perfect. This isn't your average foundation, I'd really say its more like a concealer, as it sort of 'evens out' your complexion in a completely ungreasy way, and it doesn't really look like you have any make up on. My skin is just perfected really. Brilliant product. only down side is that the coverage is so sheer that I am using more than i would generally do (to cover up some bigger imperfections!). well done clinique!

This make up really lives up to its name,it looks as fresh at the end of the day as it does at the start. I have slightly oily skin,and it doesn't slide off during the day like other foundations I have tried. It looks like a better version of my own skin,not at all thick or caked on.

I bought this recently along with me new 3 step and from the first application I am very satisfied!covers very nicely, you don't feel and see that you have makeup, very fresh and natural finish, blends completely with my skin tone - thanks to Clinique assistant help to find the right shade!If you are looking for a lightweight, natural makeup which you don't feel on your face at all GO for this!

pros:

I love Clinique makeup. The perfectly real range has such a great selection of shades. i picked number 48. I wear this to dance calls and sometimes on most days. i feels so smooth on my skin and has very good coverage. I do like the natural finish look as well. It smells okay and has a very creamy texture but not heavy to wear. I put this on with the clinique foundation brush.

I am about the same colour as Gabrielle Union. This foundation is probably the best match for my skin tone and there are another 2 shades darker which is rare for a major brand! Needless to say that my sisters' Xmas pressies are sorted :)

Tried lots of different foundations,some Clinique,some others, this is great,I have very oily skin,stays matte for hours, I wouldnt say all day,but for a long,long time.Very lightweight and easy to apply and blend.

I had been using the blemish solutions foundation which did absolutely nothing for me, the coverage was poor, it didnt help with my break outs and after a couple of hours it slipped off my oily skin. After reading the reviews on this I decided to give this product a try and I am pleased to say that it was a successful change, the foundation is lovely, great coverage and so natural looking. Even the Clinique consultant was amazed at how well it covered my flaws, its the best foundation I have used. I have very oily skin and whilst this doesn't keep me matte all day it doesnt make me look like an saudi oil rig like the many other foundations which I have purchased and used over the years! Great shades for black skins too! Thanks Clinique!

I chose this foundation after my previous favourite was discontinued. It's better- smooth, light, good coverage and the squeeze bottle is easy. I was concerned when it arrived that it would be too dark but it really does match and adapt to my skin tone after a few seconds of applying it.

pros:

I have been searching for a replacement foundation for Superfit which I adored. A Clinique consultant recommended that I try this as it was the next best thing. It is really good and takes a bit of getting used to. It is so weightless. I put it on and thought where's that gone? There is a risk of putting too much on as it is so light but you really don't need to. Have confidence in it and it will give you a natural and even look. I was a bit disappointed with the colour scheme numbering range. I wish all the foundations had the same colouring labeling. Would make life easier..! Good product. Would buy it again.

pros:

I have a really oily T-Zone but my cheeks are lovely and normal. My main concern is a foundation that doesn't cake up my pores leading the oil to seep through, as it leaves me looking like I have a layer of fine sweat (Ew!) so constantly find myself powdering my forehead, nose and chin throughout the day and only adding to the mess. This foundation is a treat for my skin, you can have a thin layer or build it up slowly for a night look. It gets me through a few hours of the day shine-free which has NEVER happened for me before. It does contain small glitter-like particles so light reflects well. NOT for those with dry skin or flaky skin as these particles will only collect on drier areas showing them up more. I'd definitely recommend it for ladies with skin like mine. The only issue I had was buying online - the shade 16 looks lightest (common sense said the number would mean it'd be the "average" colour that suits most but alas, I went off the chart!), it's not pale enough for me so I'll be purchasing from a stall next time. However, I can mix this with a lighter foundation I used to use and the colour is perfect. GREAT foundation.

Incorrect Colour Chart

pros:

I was advised by clinique to order shade 16 in this foundation. (I wanted to try something new and I'm normally shade alabaster).When it arrived I was sure they had sent out the wrong shade, it was very dark compared to my skin tone, but it was indeed shade 16 which is apparently the lightest shade.If they did do my correct shade it probably would have been a perfect foundation, but it's hard to find paler shades now which is very disappointing.

Lovely foundation

I have normal combination skin and I was looking for a long-lasting foundation with a radiant, natural finish. I'm really happy with this. I do see some shine on my nose and forehead after several hours, but it doesn't make me shinier and it has such a lovely natural finish that I don't mind touching up with powder or blotting once or twice a day (I don't need more). The pore minimiser serum really helps with shine too- it makes a difference if you use it underneath.

I first used this foundation after moaning about my bad skin to a friend and she dragged me into a department store about 5 years ago to try some new make-up. I decided to try Clinique as a colleague with amazing skin wore it. This is the foundation the sales advisor recommended to use and I can honestly say it is incredible, my skin is so red and blotchy with mild acne, but wearing Perfectly Real just makes it so flawless and nice, I have tried many other types but nothing is as good as this! It goes on nice and smoothly and lasts for hours. Worth every penny :)

pros:

I really like the product even though the coverage is quite light but it evens up skin tone and gives a lovely, healthy natural look! The shade is perfect too which was a nice surprise as the other Clinique foundation/powders I've tried have been either too orangey or too pale. I'd recommend this foundation if you want a dewy, natural glow but not if you want something heavy duty.
