Light yet effective foundation

I was looking for an oil-free SPF 15 foundation that would create an even finish but not block my pores. I also needed a warm yet pale coulour as I have an 'alabaster' (read: 'pastey'!) copmplexion. After a comprehensive assessment of all the Clinique foundation range, I chose The 'Almost Makeup SPF 15' in Fair. This foundation lived up to expectations. It gives a love even matt finish without being too heavy. It lasts all day even though I have a rather oily T zone and was easy to remove in the evening. I also noticed an improvement in the number of spots I've had as I am acne-prone, and the oil-free formula has definitely reduced the zit count! Add in the bonus of SPF 15 and you have a brilliant light-cover foundation suitable for everyday use.

This foundation is the only one I use. I have tried so many different products, all feeling unconfortable and clogging into fine lines. Almost make up is so light you don't feel it and you just look beautiful without showing the makeup. Moreover, the shade "fair" is the only one I found really according to my complexion. I keepo buying Almost Makeup in the UK because it is unfortunately not available in my country.

This is a nice product, easy to apply it feels nice and light on the skin. However, if you need alot of coverage, I would not reccommend this- it does not hide spots brilliantly. However, it does give you a healthy looking glow and evens out skin tone.

pros:
I have spent a fortune looking for a foundation that would provide natural lookig finish, without being too heavy, and, minimise my fine lines. I have been using almost make up every day for a couple of months now an would not be without it. It makes my skin look younger and fresher and I feel fantastic.I did think I may require a slightly heavier make up for the party season but although it provides sheer coverage it still looks fab.

This foundation is amazing for people who "can't wear foundation". I normally hate wearing foundation - even others from the clinique range such as superfit, because a few hours in my skin gets oily which encourages spots. However with Almost make-up I never have this problem. I wear it with the powder on top, and I find my skin stays clear and oil-free. The coverage looks natural and lasts all day.

I have been using this for over 12 months now and I absolutely love it. My skin always looks at it's best when I use it on a regular basis. I have strayed to other brands, but found that the oil free formula of this is the only foundation that leaves my skin clear and spot free. Also it is leave a nice natural, almost dewy finish. The SPF is also an added bonus!

Best Ever Everyday Light Cover Foundation

I have used this product since it was first introduced by Clinique some 15 years plus ago. It has been my best friend during that time and has always looked fabulous even in my maturing years. I am deeply disapointed that Clinique feels that it needs to discontinue the product and has even left a period of time with no replacement. After using Clinique products for more that 20 years I was forced to find another brand for my immediate use.

I am heartbroken to discover this has been discontinued, it's my absolute holy grail foundation. It's light and sheer but still has excellent coverage, the perfect base for 'no makeup' makeup! I've recommended it to several people and I rarely recommend specific products. PLEASE reconsider your decision Clinique, I've been using it for about the last 10 years and I don't have the faintest idea what I'm going to replace it with!

I absolutely loved this product, and have used it ever since a friend recommended it to me a couple of years ago.It was so lovely & light, and perfect for my pale skin so imagine how distraught I was when I went in to get some more today only to be told it was discontinued! I couldn't believe it!The Clinique lady was very helpful & showed me the new "replacement" product - moisture surge tinted moisturiser - but I found it far too heavy/thick. As such I now have to begin my search for the perfect light makeup all over again :( Clinique please reconsider!!!

I echo all the comments to bring this product back. There is nothing else like it. I have never found such a light "foundation", and in the perfect colour for my fair skin (I always seem to look orange, even with the lightest shades!). I am very saddened that this has been discontinued. Bring it back Clinique, or at least review the replacement product to make it less "heavy". You have left a gap unfilled here!

Fantastic light makeup .. used for several years .. imagine my horror when trying to purchase replacement only to find it had been discontinued.. WHY?? .. why remove such a wonderful popular product .. Clinique representative was very helpful and recommended the replacement ..Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 .. nowhere near as good as Almost Makeup .. much heavier and does not have same appearance on the skin .. very very disappointed .. it had taken me years to find this wonderful product and now its gone and I am back where I started all those years ago .. PLEASE PLEASE reconsider your decision and BRING BACK ALMOST MAKEUP!!! I know there are many others who would support it being returned to your range .. living in hope.....

I am devastated that this product is no longer available. I have used it for years and years and years and it is the only product which suits my skin. The moisture surge replacement is no comparison, it is drying to the skin and non moisturizing. There is even a Facebook page to bring Almost Makeup back. Please listen to your customers and bring it back :(

I am dismayed that Clinique has again discontinued another one of my favourite products. This foundation gave a fantastic dewy coverage to my skin. I cannot find anything to match it. The Moisture Surge replacement is too thick and drying. Maybe I will need to turn to another brand in desperation.
