As a fan of Clinique high impact mascara I was delighted with this product, no need for eye lash curlers and the colour works great for me. Thumbs up Clinique, you've done it again.

pros:
This mascara looks great, coats lashes well and really is water proof - withstands. crying and swimming! However, it is not easy to put on another coat once is has dried and really is not easy to get off.I love putting it on in the morning and dread taking it off at night. It is a bit of a hassle having to use hot water only and then all the black bits that are left stuck to your face do really drive me mad! I do wish you could remove it with Clinique Eye make up remover.

I have been looking for a mascara like this for years, one that curls your lashes without using eyelash curlers and this does the trick!! The mascara stays where it is until you want to take it off and it comes off no problem. Curls your lashes without effort. Hope Clinique continue to produce this mascara for a very long time to come!!

When i first used this mascara i used the brush the correct way i found this did not work well for my lashes and was ready to chuck the mascara although the next day i decided to turn the brush and use it upside down which worked fab, it really lengthens your lashes and gives a dramatic look. the only down side is taking it off make up remover doesnt work just use plain old water!

I'm not one to rave about a product unless it's justfied and so can say without any reservation that if like me, you are left with grey smudges under your eyes at the end of a long day, this is the product for you. I am a contact lense wearer and tend to rub my eyes during the day, but the high impact mascara has unbelieveable staying power. However, I do have one caveat, use an eyelash curler, as this will allow you to apply the mascara with ease and avoid clumping. I would not say that this product has a curling effect on the lashes, so if this is primarily what you are looking for, it is maybe not for you. Likewise if you never use an eyelash curler I think you will find it difficult to apply effectively. Use with one however, and you will have long lashes, very little clumping and fantastic staying power.

I could not wait to get home, and apply this product....but what a dissapointment. My lashes still bends down, and even with a eye lash curler, it still didn't preform!!I love all the other Clinique make-up products, and use only them...but this does not live up to their normal high standards!!

I wasn't sure about this mascara at first because I didn't know how to remove it-all it takes is warm water! Now, I am in love. I'm sure this stuff over time has made my eyelashes curl permanently!I'm on my 3rd tube! This curved brush scoops up your eyelashes, just leave it to dry and the effect of it is buildable. Wear by day or by night! never flakes or budges.

This mascara is fabulous and does exactly what it promises to do! The application is lovely, like applying silk to your eyelashes and makes them look lovely & long with a nice curl.I wear glasses and have a tendency for smudging but this mascara really makes my eyes stand out and it truly does stay on all day without the slightest of a flake.I have no problems with removing the mascara and the end of the day. I use 'Simple' wipes and find that they work a treat. No residue left at all.Well worth the money. In this instance you really do get what you pay for which is a fabulous mascara!

It is abosolutely the best mascara I have ever used. Stays on all days and lengthens and curls my puny lashes dramatically. Looks the same at night as when I put it on in the morning. Even my eyeliner appears to stay on all day now. BUT...Clinique, please invent a makeup remover that will dissolve it. Taking it off is a complete nightmare. Yes, warm water on a cotton pad does work, but I end up with black bits all over my face and neck, all over the sink etc. I am still using it everyday despite the trouble, but I do find it really annoying, and sometimes my eyelashes come off with the clumps, also NOT GOOD!! Hopefully Clinique can come up with something, otherwise I may only use it for going out and not for everyday. That's why I give it only 4 stars instead of 5!

I bought this mascara for the first time recently and have to say it really does what it says. I spend my days sitting at a computer so the constant looking down at keys plays havoc with smudges. Since buying the High Impact Curling Mascara I haven't had any smudges and the curl has lasted as well. It still lengthens and thickens but in a natural, glossy way and does not clump.I will definately be sticking with this product as it does exactly what I want of a mascara.

Finally a mascara that solves all your problems! No need to curl lashes before putting on mascara. My lashes never curl and although they are long, they are also fair, and most mascaras don't stick to end of lashes, so it person would think I have short lashes. This mascara sticks to whole length of lashes, curls them and builds them up, making your eyes more open then ever. Also it doesn't smudges. It's long wearing.

Have used High Impact for years now and thought this "Curling High Impact" would be the same but with curls! I found it a completely different formula - quite difficult to remove (unlike High Impact which comes off in the shower with the facial soap like a dream each night). Didn't really curl my lashes but they are quite thick already. Not for me.

pros:
I received this mascara in a recent GWP set. I have been disappointed by MANY makes and brands of mascara over the years I wasn't expecting very much from it. Boy, was I in for a very pleasant surprise!I was a little unnerved by the curved brush at first, but once I got used to holding it a certain way I found it easy to use. Excellent coverage of majority of lashes is achieved with just one stroke. It's rich and thick and gives my lashes great thickness. Did not notice much curling effect, but I was blown away by the thickness of my lashes.Removing is soooooo much easier. A quick warm and wet with some dampened cotton wool and it's off. Texture of the residue does look like rubber cement BUT there is no flaking and no panda eyes. I once even slept in it after a heavy night and in the morning my eyes looked great with no dark mascara smudges.I will be buying a full size version when this mini tube runs dry.

This mascara is terrible! I received a sample in my free gift and was looking forward to trying this, I've always loved Clinique mascaras. However, this one clumps and clogs, too much mascara is on the wand and it's an absolute nightmare to remove. It made my lashes look heavy and it was a bit sticky too.I managed to take it off after a trying cleansing wipes, eye make up remover, warm water and baby lotion! It pulled my skin and pulled countless eye lashes! I'm really disappointed and won't be using this again!

I read so many review about this mascara and they are either super positive, or super negetive.Personally, I LOVE this Mascara. The reason for different reviews is that "consumers should read the labels!!! but some of them obviously didn't!"1st Is is easy to remove?YES defenitely!, but with WARM WATER and FACE WASH. NOT make up remover.I tried using make up remover, and it just makes everything messy, but if you use Normal face wash (+warm water)it works a wonder!2nd does it clump?NO if you use it properly. Iam the type of person sho lives well defined lashes instead of dramatic thick lashes. (On a nomal day, I only use 3-steps, sunscreen + mascara). The trick is, DO NOT OVER APPLY. For daily use when you pull the brush out of the bottle, scrape the inner side of the brush slightly toward the edge of the opening, and you wont end up with tons of mascara on your brush. Then apply, lashes will look natural and defined.3rd Curling effect: If your lashes are curled, this can hold the shape for more than 18 hours at least!I am of Chinese ethnicity, with super strait hair. (My hair looks like it has been straighten by straghtener even when i wake up, or right after a shower with blow dry but no combing it) Bad news is, SO IS MY LASHES! they are super stright, and will never curl unless i use a curler. I apply this mascara after curling it. And curl again after it semi dried. and the curl and shape can LAST ALL DAY!!! i have not worn this mascara for 24 hours so i dont know if it does last that long, but after 18 hours, i reassure you the curling effect wont let youe down.if you use it properly. I am sure this will be a good buy for many people!

I have tried lots of mascara only to find out that they would smudge and I would have dark circles under my eyes. With this mascara it glides on without clumps and defines the lashes and doesn't smudge. When it's time to take it off I just fill the basin with warm water and put the water on my face and then gently glide my finger along to the ends of my lashes and it comes off - simple - no rubbing of eyes! However, I do a lot of swimming and this is only supposed to come off in warm water, but it also comes off in the swimming pool, which is disappointing. if it didn't do this it would be perfect.

I have been using Clinique High Impact mascara for a few years now and thought I would have a whirl with this curling one, and how amazing it is too! The wand is a great shape to get all my lashes coated and even the corner ones without poking my eye out! It builds up really well without becoming cloggy.Best of all I naughtily didn't remove my makeup before going to bed and when I woke my masacara looked like I had just applied it, no smudges/panda eyes and my lashes were still super curly! And it is really fun to remove, just warm water and and you can kind of 'pull' the mascara off your lashes! So much easier than faffing around with greasy creams. This will be my one and only mascara from now on :0)

This is an unusual mascara. The curved wand really helps hug the shape of your eyes, and the result I get is natural looking curled lashes. Nothing dramatic but still noticeable. But it removes in an interesting way. You cannot remove it with makeup remover but it just comes off with warm water. I wet my fingers and massage over the lashes then actually gently pull off what look like tubes of mascara. My lashes don't come off with them so it is very gentle. But I think depending on the mood your in it can be more hassle than it's worth. It is however kind of fun, if you like that kind of thing!!

I always buy Clinique and have never been disappointed before with anything. However, that was until I tried this mascara. It is quite possibly the worst mascara I have ever tried from Clinique. Application is not slick and easy. This particular one clumped on every single lash and an eyelash comb was needed to get them off. It smudged giving me panda eyes. The worst thing though, it trying to get it off. Even with Clinique's waterproof eye make up remover this stuff doesn't come off without a fight. This mascara was on my eyelashes for 2 days looking patchy, plus my skin was red from all the rubbing - and it was not a good look on my 6th wedding anniversary (Saturday 25th Sept) when we went out for dinner and show.

This product makes my lashes thicker and longer but it will create some clumps if you put too much mascara on a brush. It is very easy to remove with just warm water and it will NEVER give you panda eyes because it does not melt - the mascara comes off in pieces. The best way is to remove it while you r taking a shower so that all the pieces will be washed away or just remove it with your wet fingers by pressing the lashes. It is very unique and I love it but it is not for you if you only use wet tissues or make up removal liquids.

Ive never been a mascara fan because of clumping and panda eyes but this lash curling mascara has converted me. The shaped application brush is easy to use and the mascara itself stays put all day. Then it just washes off easily at night when I wash my face. It's also easy to get off if you use a cotton wool ball soaked in warm water, squeezed out and then stroked down the lashes. I'm really shocked after reading the negative reviews here. I bought this mascara a few months ago and I think it's fabulous. It goes on beautifully (though, admittedly, it did take a bit of practise to get it right) and comes off easily. I cry all the time (am a big baby!) and I love that I don't have to worry about panda eyes. I find it much easier to remove than other mascaras because it comes off in pieces and I always feel confident that I've taken it off. With other mascaras, particularly ones like this that give so much coverage, sometimes there's a bit of residue and I'll wake up with smudgy eyes, but that never happens with this stuff.I absolutely love it and would most certainly recommend it to anyone. I won't buy any other stuff now.

I bought this mascara on a whim and I have learned my lesson - I will never buy any make up without reading some reviews.I have very short, thin and pale eyelashes and I love creating density and length by using a mascara. Ages ago, I had used a mascara with the same curved brush and found it amazing and I thought I should buy the Clinique one. I bought the brown/black shade and I have to say I am extremely disppointed. The mascara does not curve my eyelashes any more than any other mascara but what it does is it accentuates how thin and short my eyelashes are. The effect is the worst I have ever seen and I definitely will not be re-purchasing this product. It is indeed easy to remove and does not irritate my eyes which is great. What I expect a mascara to do apart from darkening my lashes is creating (some) volume and (some) legth. This one does neither. In a nutshell, it makes my lashes look pathetic.

I love Clinque but got to say haven't been overly impressed with their mascara's would rather pay bit extra for the higher end brands. In fairness this did look good on my lashes and did curl them but my lashes are naturally long anyway so maybe not a fair idea of whether this does work. However it is really easy to remove by lightly dabbing the lashes with tap water and the mascara slides off no bother. The most annoying thing is all the excess mess on the brush when you pull it out the tube! Really annoying wiping it as you then have to use tissue to remove all excess. Overall not bad but wouldn't buy another after this one runs out.

I bought this as would advised it was easy to remove and no need for eye make up removers, and the fact it is good for sensitive eyes, which mine are, VERY SENSITIVE! I was advised to try it and I have but I have to say, it took me AGES to scrub off with warm water, not easy to get off at all I didn't find, my eyes were killing me by the time it was all gone! I have to say though I do like the way it makes your lashes look and I simply LOVE all clinique products generally but think I may have to try a different mascara t o this one!

I am on my 2nd tube of this and I highly recommend it. It's the only mascara I have ever used that does not leave me with panda eyes after 5 minutes. - and believe me I've tried them all from the cheapest to the most expensive. It is easy to remove - I use clinique take the day off for eyes and lips(the best eye make-up remover I have ever used). Then I soak a flannel in hot water and rub it over eye-lashes- the mascara just glides off and I don't wake up in the morning with black eyes!!I used it on my sister and she was amazed - she's a convert. The only downside is that if I go to bed without removing make-up (I know I shouldn't) it will be flakey around my eyes in the morning.

pros:
I tried this mascara after getting it as part of a bonus time. I usually use the high impact mascara. I LOVE this mascara - it goes on easily and it makes my eyelashes look really long. This is easily the best mascara I have ever used.It is a bit difficult to remove, but it's ok once you get used to it.

I cannot say just how much I love this mascara, really enhances my lashes and curls at the same time. I use with primer and new bottom lash mascara for a stunning effect. I remove with Take the day off cleanser (lids, lips lashes etc).

pros:
Having tried this mascara when it was part of a goody bag I decided to buy it instead of my usual high impact one. What a mistake! It appears to be a different mascara to the trial size. My eyelashes looked like hard pieces of wire with clumps in various places. I had difficulty - an understatment - in removing the mascara without loosing eyelashes and it appears to have dried out my lashes after only three attempts at use. I will be going into the store from which I bought it to complain, hopefully a refund will be on offer as I was a total waste of my money.

pros:
Having very, very sensitive eyes this is the ONLY mascara I have found that I can use without some extent of irritation. This is probably because it does not smudge or come off during the day at all. I like creamy eyeshadows, as they do not irritate, but most mascaras rub off them and leave me with black smudges around my eyes, not this one! The downside is that it is more difficult to remove - but worth the effort, in my opinion, as I am now able to wear mascara all day without the worry of smudgy eyes : )

Was recommended this by consulatant in shop, wanted a really good waterprrof mascara. Was fab to to start off with, then it came to taking it off and just wouldnt budge ! got most of it off until i found black specs all over my pillow the next day , only to realise it was the mascara. Looks lovely when its on, but a bit "cloggy". And when it rained i ended up with black specs all over my face which i didnt know about until someone told me ! very embaressing.

Although I wouldn't totally agree with the 'fake, smudge proof' side of it, i absolutely love this mascara. I don't ever wear mascara but since I have this I'm always wearing it. It gives your lashes such a beautiful look definitely worth the price!

I was really disappointed with this mascara, it was difficult to apply smoothly, clumped badly and left little flakes all over my cheeks. Later was a nightmare to remove even with the proper remover. Am going back to Natural Glossy.

pros:
This is the worst Clinique product I've ever bought! Clumpy to go on and the curled brush makes it hard to get into the corners of your eyes. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get off, even though I use Clinique's own Take the Day Off Remover. I end up pulling it off my lashes, causing pain and ruining my lashes in the long term! I received this accidently, when asking for a high impact mascara, the Clinique counter rep gave me this and I'd used it before I realised it was totally the wrong product; lesson learnt, always check inside all those identical boxes when they're given to you to make sure it is actually what you asked for!

I love this mascara, I originally got this in a Bonus Time gift set, and have never looked back. The mascara does not smudge, smear or flake, other mascaras I have tried that state the same, have never quite lived up to their claim. My eyelashes have never looked so long and full, and this effect lasts, with no midday droop.Like a few people who have written other reviews, I found it difficult to remove at first, rubbing with eye makeup remover, (that works perfectly with almost all other Clinique mascaras I have used, and I have used most of them) that didn't work and left flakes of mascara everywhere, pulling at my lashes, which just pulled them out! But I have now mastered the removal, and have had no more problems. The trick is to soak your eyelashes really well with water, then using a cotton wool pad wipe gently downwards, the mascara does turn quite soft when the water penetrates it and it wipes away quite easily, then one final splash of water on your eyes, and it is all gone.I am still using High Impact Curling Mascara now, after trying it for the first time nearly 2 years ago, and would recommend this mascara to anyone who wants that full long eyelash look that lasts.

If you want long defined eyelashes that actually do curl, then this is a must. It is also the only mascara that I have tried that stays on for the duration of the day/night even with a few tears (of laughter :-) but is easy to remove with make up wipes.Should be in every girl's make up bag.

Best mascara ever. It dosen't give you panda eyes even if you sleep with it on and so easy to remove with a eyemakeup remover. Also it gives a fake-lash look. I just love the shape of the applicator. The best mascara I've ever bought. I have already recommended to my frinds and they are just as pleased.
