I was recommended this for my blemish scars and after being given a tester, purchased the full-size product. I have been using it for 5 weeks now and I've noticed a major difference in my skin. My skin is brighter and more evenly toned overall (I have received many compliments) and the minor scars have faded dramatically and almost disappeared. The major scars are much less noticeable and it stops new blemishes from scarring.My Mum asked me if I was wearing foundation (I wasn't) because my skin was so improved and she has now purchased it herself for her dark spots. She's been using it for a week and the lighter dark patches have almost disappeared.I was told the bottle would last me a month but it doesn't show any signs of being almost finished. 1 pump is enough for the whole face.You won't notice the effects of this for about 4 weeks so persevere.

I bought the product in December to fight medium darker spots and used for three months, twice a day. Did not find much improvement, and was advised to buy a second one and keep using, as the effects would come with time. I bought another and kept using, but the results are very disappointing up to now, after more than 6 months using. The product is expensive, and performance is not visible. I do not recommend.

Used the whole bottle, but noticed very little differences. I gave it another chance, as I thought 'maybe I need 2 to solve my dark spots'. I have been using the 2nd bottle for a month but no visible signs yet.What I dislike about the new even better 'clinical' bottle is that it pumps out lots of it even with slight squeeze. One squeeze = 2 application amount, which is a waste of money.

I bought my first bottle and noticed no difference on dark spots, so was advised to buy another and give it a chance to get working. The second bottle is almost gone - and there definately won't be a third! It has made no difference and does not appear any better than the original version - which also didn't make any difference. I applied this religeously since it's release date in April- using very high SPF during the day.Pros-I found the texture very light and easy to use-it leaves no residue and doesn't interfere with make-up application.It makes the skin feel smooth and silky without breakouts.The downside is that i find it expensive - the bottle doesn't last long for the money- and it has made no noticable difference to my existing pigmentation- however-probably due to the high anti-oxidant levels-the pigment hasn't got any darker which usually happens during the summer. I am nearing the end of my 2nd bottle now and will not buy a 3rd. I expected results after all the hype!

I highly recommend this product for any skin discoloration and acne/spot scarring. I have very pale skin that scars and marks easily and have spent the past 5 years dealing with acne/spot scarring left over from my teenage years. This is the first product I have found which has made any difference. Within two weeks of beginning the first bottle I noticed a difference in my skin. I am now in the middle of my second bottle and my skin is almost entirely scar-free. It is incredibly light and soothing on my skin and doesn't cause any irritation or break outs. I am also able to wear significatly less make up than I used to in order to achieve that "flawless finish" with my foundation. It is a bit pricey as a bottle only lasts about 3 months for me, but it has been worth the price. And as my scarring is rapidly dissapearing I'm guessing one more bottle should take care of it!

This is a great product! I am brand new to Clinique and have only been using Even Better for a couple of months, but have already started seeing a difference in the texture and colour of my skin. I have really big brown pigmentation marks caused by sun exposure as I have hypersensitive skin to sunlight (even though I don't sunbathe). Using this product has helped to lighten up the offending areas and I am hoping that with continued use the problem areas will diminish even more!!

My 'ugly spots' have been an embarassment and a concern for a few years and I'd resigned myself to them always being there. Despite the price I though it was worth a try. I'm just finishing my second bottle and finally I can see that the marks are definitely fading. The product seems to be more effective when applied to washed skin - maybe creamy cleansers leave a residue that inhibits the product? Everything crossed for continued fading!!!

On the plus side I liked the moisturising effect that this product had. However, 3 bottles and a free sample later I'm afraid it has had no impact on reducing the hyperpigmentation spots I actually purchased it for. I have had troubled skin since my teens with spots and red marks regardless of my diet or skin care regime. This product has worked wonders!My pores are small, the red tint on my skin is gone, my acne scarring is clearing. The brown spots are still there but as the product notes, it does not fix freckles.My skin is also spotless.I would recommend this product, yes it is costly but so is trying a million different other products or laser treatment.

I had used the whole even better treatment (the serum and the moisturiser)almost for 1 year, and to be honest it was not any good results for me, it didn't do anything of what I've been told when I bought it. However the serum have a very nice texture, it left my skin very soft, hydrated and my face was not oily at all (I have combination oily skin type)The first time that I bought this product was with the first version of even better, I've been told if I really want to have good result it will take up to 6 months. I am medium brown skin colour (I am Latin American background) and I have an annoying dark spot around my mouth, product of sun damage.It was almost the 6 months and after used the product everyday, still didn't see any result as I expected.Then I tried the clinical version, this time I did because I had the guaranty that if I was not happy with the product, my money will be refund, so I gave a chance and after 3 months of using everyday, I gave up and I returned it to the store and got my money back.Definitely, it didn't work for me at all and it was also a waste of money, because the first time that I bought it, no one gave me my money back.

Alright so I have been looking for something to remove my acne scars for YEARS. I had almost given up when a wonderful sales assistant at my local Clinique told me about this product. I bought it via the website and was loyal to using it twice a day. In the first 3 weeks my skin was feeling so incredibly soft but the scars were unchanged.. THEN after 5 weeks of using it I took a proper look in the mirror and wondered how I'd forgotten to take my make-up off... Then realised I wasn't wearing any! It's like having new skin and even a good friend said my face looked different and more defined. I have dark skin so my skin scars very easily so I can't begin to tell you just how many scars it got rid of! A negative is that my skin around my T-zone gets flaky because of the UV chemical inside the product but that can easily be fixed by using the 'Even Better' moisturizer.

I have been using this serum for 3 weeks now and can see a noticeable difference in my lighter dark spots, not so much in the darker ones just yet. But I will persevere as I feel it will be worth it in the long run, and as it is expensive I'm not going to be letting it go to waste!I find the serum sinks into my skin nicely and leaves it feeling soft and not at all sticky. I follow it up with Repairwear Lift SPF 15 or Super City Block SPF 40, depending on what I am doing that day.

I don't expect them to disappear completely but the results are excellent. I have been using this product twice a day for two weeks and it does appear to have faded my skin discolourations already. This really does make a difference to my appearance, and I think I look younger ! It is a bit of a faff, having to use the soap, then scrub, then exfoliator, then DDM, then serum, then moisturiser, and if that isn't enough, it is essential to also use a sunscreen (I happen to use the factor 40 city block). But at least all the products are formulated to go together. The info on the website about how to use is poor, and I had to speak to a consultant in a store to get the right way to use it, so Clinique could improve their website in this way.

I have been using this to treat the acne scarring on my cheeks for the past 7 weeks and I am delighted with the results. Not only have my pock marks have evened out, my skin generally looks brighter and healthier too - even my boyfriend has noticed the difference! In July 2011 I suffered from Chicken Pox, yes unusual for a 32 year old, and was very concerned about the scar one of them left by my nose and the blemishes they left all over my face. I felt like hiding away until I started using this product. I have been using this serum with the Even Better Clinical Face Cream (coz it's got sunscreen in it, which is a must when using this serum) since mid July 2011 (for nearly 2 mths now) and my face has improved soooo much, the blemishes have nearly all gone and the scar is less noticable. It's well worth the money because the results are excellent. It is a product that you need to bear with because it doesn't work over night.

I was sceptical about this product as other products with similar claims have not worked for me. Don't expect overnight miracles but after a few weeks it ACTUALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN! It lasts for ages, a small amount goes a long way, it feels good on the skin and soaks in easily and quickly. My skin tone is improving and my dark spots are fading noticably so I'm really happy. Only drawback is the price. Sadly I have run out and haven't enough money right now to get any more - but it is on my Christams list if anyone's interested. LOL.

This definitely does what it says. I am 52 and have had bag pigmentation/dark patches on my neck (due to spraying perfume in the same place) for most of my life and currently have reactive skin (my age).Anyway, after a particularly bad flare up I thought to go for an expensive serum would work and this product is worth its weight in gold. Admittedly, I did spray perfume as the Clinique lady advised (not on my neck) but I know this product works as after 3 tubes the dark marks were completely gone. I have now gone without this product for 3 months and the marks are back. Next time I am near a Clinique counter I'll be restocking and it will be the better value-for-money large tube! (or 3!!)

Read the good reviews in a magazine and started using this after a holiday in the sun. Saw a big improvement in repairing the sun damage (which was my main concern) quite quickly, but was happy to see overall skin improvement. Looks more even in tone and just in better condition generally. I was away in the sun again and used it before going out in the sun and after, along with the "even better"moisturiser (and other protection). Skin looked a lot better after this holiday than the last!

Having tried every product on the market for my acne, clinique 3 step antiblemish was a godsend. but I still had my scars to deal with.My skin darkens due to excessive oil production and I was really concerned about this darkening on top of having dark acne scars. I was advised to try this serum but price has put me off, as well as the idea of layering products on my skin.however, eventually I gave in, and having used this since september A DRAMATIC difference has been made! It has done wonders to my confidence. I am on my second tube now (I bought the small one before, now have a large one) I have read some negative reviews on this, but please dont let that put you off! I advise using clinique spf 40 on top, I have found that an spf is cruicial to help the treatment work...also it does take time, so be patient, and wait a few minutes in between applying moisturiser/ even better serum/spfI found that not only does it remove dark patches and even out skin tone, but restores your natural complexion... my skin feels and looks healthier and brighter. I cannot compliment this product enough...its worth every penny!anyway, thank you clinique! I love you :)

...to an extent... I have really dark pigmentation on my cheeks from an acne problem I had as a teenager, after using this, the pigmentation is much lighter, giving me more confidence to go out without make-up on. However after 3 months of religiously using this product, there is still a little pigmentation, which I don't think is going to go away.Due to the price, I think I'll see if I can live without this product, and hopefully using just the moisturizer will do the trick.

I have been using this product since November 2011 and I have to admit that since using this product my skin has improved a lot with lightening the post blemish marks that I had on my face. However certain marks are still present but as I say it has lightened the marks, after applying the serum my skin does feel very very soft.

I have been using this for only TWO days on one pump twice a day and a black spot on my chin has turned pinkish now, my T zone is glowing and the problem areas: the upper lips down around to the chin which is darker than the rest of my face as I have Indian skin- is looking brighter. I am using this with the even better makeup foundation and found that only need to use a little squeeze. I have gotten so many compliments and already! Please do not be turned off the negativity, I was too but decided to give it a go!I had to go in-store for instructions on using this though- just in case someone is wondering they are:1: Follow your 3-step2: Use the Dark Spot Corrector3: Use the Sun Screen (IMPORTANT !!!)4: Use the Even Better FoundationI tweaked the steps so that I use the serum FIRST after the exfoliated step and only then use the DDM... I think if it touches the skin directly it is definitely more effective!I LOVE IT and can not wait to continue using this- However I did have a question- When the dark spots are gone and the skin looks 'even-toned' again Do you stop using it? How long before we should definitely stop and move on to something else like the age defence serum maybe? The whole thing is a little unclear and I feel another in-store visit coming on :) Love it Though!!

I have a dark olive complexion, and even though I tan easily, I also get dark spots easily. Combined with acne prone, oily skin, it is not a pretty sight! After years of trying different treatments I finally bit the bullet and spent some cash on this serum, and I am so glad I did. It has been absolutely amazing. Not ony has it significantly reduced the dark patches on my face, but it also helped clear up my spots and reduce my acne scarring. It is the very first cream I have ever used which feels completely comfortable - not at all greasy or dry.Last year, I tried a competitors product, which made all kinds of promises, but it wasn't a patch on Clinique's product. I went back to it straight away and within a week a few days could see the difference already.This product absolutely works and is worth every last penny!

I bought this in the hope that it would fade my old dark acne scars and whilst it does initially seem to reduce them they seem to revert back to their inital darkness after a few hours. It does say that you need to use it for a number of months so hopefully perserverance is the key to success to get a result but so far I haven't had a miraculous recovery as some of the reviewers seem to have had. I guess only time will tell but for now the jury is out on this one, especially given the price.

Brought this product and became very excited hoping to see some good results. I am now on my 2nd bottle and all this product has done is make my skin feel softer. unfortunately it has not reduced any appearance of dark spots, age spots or traces of acne past as stated. Thought I would give it a bit longer and am now on my 8th week with the 2nd bottle, i Would ask for my money back if it didn't make my skin feel so soft. (Please consider Clinique that the bottle needs to be transparent to enable customers to see when the contents are exhausted and order another in sufficient time).

this is fantastic, the only thing i have ever found that has really faded dark spots i have on my forehead. other creams and lotions have promised loads and not delivered but after one and a half months continuous use of this i can see a real difference. they are still there but have really faded and so i need much less make up than before, which is fantastic. i team this product with the lotion as i have a very greasy skin and can honestly say i have never been happier with my skin care regime, if you suffer this problem, go buy!! A superb product!!

Wow! This product does work! I have dark skin of the NW45-NW50 shade and I've been suffering from acne for quite a number of years. This leaves a mess of dark spots scattered all over my face. This serum was recommended by a friend to clear up my spots. I decided to do some research on it 'cause of the price. The negative reviews i read on here coupled with the price of the product nearly put me off. Now, i don't regret the purchase one bit. I've tried countless numbers of dark spot fade creams and non of them delivered any results. I've used this product for 4weeks and It has worked wonders on my face. My spots are definitely less noticeable. I'm on my second bottle now. I encourage others to try it out and be patient. It does take about two weeks to start noticing any results. I also do wish it comes in a transparent bottle so I will know when i'm running out of the product.

Okay, first of all I thought this was rubbish. I tried it several times, and kept putting it down because I felt it was doing nothing. The secret for those of us with darker skin, and by darker I mean those of us who are black in origin, is that this is an expensive solution to having our beautiful skin looking at its best. Basically, for this to work on black skin, you need to use three pumps continuously morning and night - after three months, i feel able to resuce this to two pumps. You will see results in 2 to 3 months. Within six months, you will not need to use makeup. I am in shock at how good my skin looks, I can see girls looking at me on the road wondering what I am using. The only thing I would add, is that you should pair this up with a very good and moisturizing face cream, the youth surge night for very dry skin is a good option. But if you can afford something more, any of the luxury creams e.g. CX, it is worth it, especially during the winter months. This is no recession busting treatment. Only begin using this if you can afford to buy the largest size, it will last you 1.5 to 2 months. I can't say how much I love love love love love this treatment. Stick with it, know it will cost you money, but knows if you do you use it properly you will see brilliant results and you will feel beautiful.

I have Indian skin, prone to breakouts that leave hyperpigmentation in their aftermath. I use 3-step and then this afterwards.It works. I have tried skincare costing 10 pounds to high end ranges costing 300 pounds and this works after 4 weeks use and has continued to work for me.Do not use it if you are Indian wanting to get whiter skin. This is not what the product is for and you are fighting a losing battle if you want that kind of cosmetic product.This does what it promises - fades dark spots and acne marks, given you even skin.I also feel that it refines my pores. My skin looks clearer and healthier.

After feeling down about the condition of my acne scarred, red skin I decided to invest in this product after having a skin consultation at my local clinique counter. I have been using for almost 5 weeks now and have seen massive improvements. The clinique consultant matched me as a 9 on the dark spot scale before using and claimed that the product would work even better for post blemish marks. I went back 3 weeks later to review the condition of my post blemish marks and I was amazed to see that my darkest mark has now gone down to the colouring of a 7. I believe it is now a 6 after another week of using the product. I have been using twice a day after using my clinique 3 step. I also use a sun protector after using the serum on a daily basis to aid the healing process. Thanks very much Clinique! Will be buying again to see even better results!

Was very sceptical about this product BUT after using for 5 weeks, I went back to the store to get my dark spots tracked. I did not tell the assistant my details/previous score as I wanted to be sure she wasn't 'led' by it. My first rating was 11, today I am 08! I also use it on my age spots on the back of my hands and they are looking much better too. Leaves your skin feeling smooth, applies easily and you don't need lots-just apply twice daily before moisturising.

I can't say enough about this product. I had dark patches on my forehead, below my eyebrows and on my top lip which were easily noticeable. After about a year of using the serum I can honestly say I can't even see them anymore. I still use it as it helps my overall skin tone. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I must have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks now, and I have actually seen improvement!I had dark marks on my chin that seemed to be the most stubborn. No matter what product I used these ones wouldn't even fade! But while using this product I have seen a noticeable difference.I do pair this product up with another dark spot corrector, but I'd been using the other one previously and saw faster results when I started using this product with it.Will definitely be purchasing again!
