This is a gorgeous mascara for people who want beautiful natural looking lashes. It lengthens and enhances without you looking like two hairy spiders are sitting on your eyes. A couple of coats is perfect for daytime use and an extra application will see you through the evening too.

I love this mascara, it creates the perfect lashes, I have never been a fan of the "couple of spiders attached to my face" look. It is such a shame that it is going to be discontinued, and my hunt for a new perfect mascara will begin again.

CLINIQUE-I beg of you,PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS FABULOUS PRODUCT!Having tried countless mascaras, not one has made the eyelashes of a humble wench look like those of Aphrodite anything like the way this one does. Glossy, soft, defined, open and lengthened, lashes also perfectly hold the curl from eyelash curlers, this mascara is buildable, stays put all day and rinses clean away with warm water. Black for drama, brown for subtelty. No spiders here indeed, just your lashes, but in their most celestial version. Which is why yours truly who had eczema even under their eyes as a child has used it daily for ten years, just like her contact-wearing mother. And their optician. And all the girls who asked her what mascara she uses. And maybe even some of the prettier boys-who knows, thats the whole point! I defy you not to adore this mascara, clinique please do not make us devotees bereft and decidedly less foxy without it.

(I wanted a subtle day look to go with brown hair so I opted for the brown mascara.)Very pleased with the purchase. Didn't know what to expect as had never tried it but the reviews looked promising. After trying it I won't go back to other brands, even brands that have been around a long time in a similar price category couldn't hope to achieve all the pros this one has! I thought all mascaras were the same and ran unless they were waterproof and clumped lashes. Not this one!On average I apply 2 coats as it is quite subtle but as mentioned in the pros you can build it up to your desired intensity without getting lashes like flies legs !!

I love this mascara. It doesnt clump, dries super quick and makes you lashes look so long. The wand is designed to take out just the right amount of mascara, so you dont end up with thick clumpy lashes (and waiting ages for them to dry)Amazing product, love it!

I'm horrified by what I have read about this maybe being discontinued! Please let this be a cruel untrue rumour! I love everything about this product! The packaging is fab - I'm not normally that bothered by packaging but this is nice. The price is reasonable. Other brands charge a lot more for mascaras I find heavy and clumpy and irritating. The finish is lovely - naturally defined lashes without the spider effect, flaking or smudging. Many mascaras irritate my eyes during the day, but not this one. The brown looks nicely natural and the black is ideal for evening time - drama but not pantomime dame! I'm so horrified I might have to stock up!

This is a very well known product - after the 3-Step it is probably Clinique's most famous line - and rightly so, because it really is exceptionally good.I've been using this mascara for more years than I can remember. I've tried a lot of other brands over the years, but none of them are as good as this - Clinique really have got it exactly right.It goes on smoothly with no clumping at all, it dries very fast indeed, and it makes lashes so long, yet still looking completely natural. Even the packaging is beautiful.If you want a more dramatic look for evening, it is very easy - add another coat or two, and you can also maybe use black instead of brown.For me, this is the best mascara, bar none.

I absolutely love this mascara! It's better not to use too much to keep more of the natural fine eye-lashes (that's the point though lol). No clogging what-so-ever and gives a real flirt to the eye - great job Clinique!

This mascara is so ineffective that I actually wondered if there was a mistake & I had been sent a pre-used, well actually all-used-up one by mistake. After a lot of hard brush,brush brush I can discern the faintest touch of colour on my lashes. I ended up having to go & buy a functioning mascara from my local chemist, which made my n=mascara expenditure pretty high!

Have always bought the Clinique High Impact Mascara but in the heat of the moment decided on a change. This product, in my opinion, is nowhere near as nice and the actual product feels of poor quality ie. does not smooth over the lashes nicely and is very dry.Would have returned product but did not keep the packaging or delivery note.....silly me!

Had to leave a review after reading the negative comments on this mascara, are they really for the same product? Have never found it dry, in fact the opposite, lovely and soft, and not gunky and drying, clumping your lashes together the way some do! Come to think of it it's the only mascara I've used that I'm not (literally) itching to get off at the end of the day. The colour black/brown is perfect too, lush and dark without looking too black and fake...pretty much perfect! 4 stars for not being waterproof but hey, you can't have everything. Please don't discontinue, Clinique!

I've been using this mascara for years and years and have tried others but always come back and now don't even try others because this is the best. I'm dismayed to hear it may be discontinued. Clinique, please don't, it must be one of your best sellers and much loved by many. You will definitely lose customers if you discontinue this mascara as none of your other lines work for me and I've tried them all.

I struggled to find a good replacement mascara when the Long Pretty Lashes mascara was discontinued. All the others that I have tried have gone clumpy and have made my eyelashes stick together! This is a very good alternative, leaving a very natural look which I love! I have to apply a couple of coats for the evening though.

I read the reviews before i purchased this, and took the advice of others who had suggested to buy this in brown if you have fairer skin. When buying previous mascaras i have always bought black, however i am so happy to have my eyes opened to brown mascara! It looks so natural, and is just what i wanted. Completely agree with the other reviews which say it doesnt make your lashes look spidery or clumps. Perfect buy! Definately will buy again, and again after that!

Very happy with this mascara! Can't believe how light my eye lashes feel and how good they look. It does what it says: gives you a naturally glossy look. You'll need a different mascara on a night out though - if you try to add one layer after another, it doesn't work, your eye lashes will stick together not in a nice way - at least mine did when I tried :-DThis is a brilliant mascara for an every day use. Fast, effective, easy, great for busy people who can't spend a lot of time on their make up in the morning.Would definitely recommend this and will buy again!
