Previously used superfit make-up, bought even better when my local stockist had run out. Now regularly use Even Better and would not return to superfit. Even Better feels much lighter on application, evens skin tone and lightens the appearance of my skin - pretty much does what it says on the bottle. One application lasts the whole day, does not feel greasy and doesn't smear onto clothes.....Brilliant.

I LOVE IT! Excellent. I have scars from acne and was not sure if the foundation would work with brown skin, however it has been amazing. i sweat easily, my face will become so oily + messy. huh... make me lazy to go out when it is a sunny day. it's no longer happen when i use the clinique foundation + powder. even when the sun shines brightly, i still walk through the sunlight confidently. Since my skin also sensitive, i barely use make up, because once apply any foundation on my face, the acne will pop out for the next day. But, with Clinique foundation, all my skin problem gone. Normally use either super balanced or soft finish, however, I have skin type 1 and didn't think this would be for me, but its great, gives a nice subtle glow, good natural coverage that covers all my redness/high colouring, it also seems to be moisturising and long lasting. I believe it will also do more for my skin, would not normally have bought it but tried a sample and was also advised by a consultant that it would be ok for me. As normal the well trained consultant knew her stuff and was right. Shall now use this instead of super balanced. Seems to apply better with a brush rather than fingers.

I have very oily skin, and whilst this is "oil free", it is quite creamy, and after a while, even with loose powder, it feels quite "sticky" on my face. I have quite marked pigmentation on my face from the contraceptive pill, and whilst it is good coverage for this, I prefer Superfit, fot its finish, coverage and lastability. I can still use the Even Better Skin Tone Corrector serum under superfit for the same benefits.

It has taken me a very long time to find a product that would conceal and even cure the marks left on my skin... As a regular runner clocking up a 100 miles a week, my skin takes a battering from the elements. I have acquired a certain 'outdoor look' to my skin over the years and was beginning to think that I just had to live with this skin at this time of my life! I've tried nnumerous foundations by lots of different companies but never got the coverage I required without looking caked and 'made up', a look which I thikn adds years to any woman. One Saturday afternoon as I browsed the Clinique counter, having been recommended a product by a make up artist friend of mine, the shop assistant suggested Even Better Make Up....I refused to be sold another unnecessary product...however she gave me a sample and also applied the foundation to my face in store. I was very sceptical....I'd never be able to recreate the look. The following day I applied the make up going to work...it really is so easy to apply with either a brush or your fingers..I can apply lightly for the day and create a more even coverage for night. The proof is in the pudding as they say...and what better proof than 30 14-16 year olds. In my job as a teacher the kids are only too ready to criticise and comment, if they give a positive comment it's usually genuine! They said I looked different, good different, my colleagues commented all day on how lucid and glowing my skin looked! I was thrilled! Now I wear Even Better Makeup everyday, it really has changed my life...I'm so much more confident with my skin. I even wear it training, it doesn't clog or run off...please don't ever stop making it:)

I bought this because Clinique discontinued Stay-True foundation which I had been using for years.I have oily skin which is prone to breakouts and some redness. I thought that this might help. However, for me the coverage wasn't as I had expected and it wasn't very easy to apply (in comparision to Stay-True). I should probably mention that I use Clinique T-Zone Control too and I always put this on before foundation.After a couple of hours my skin looked like an oil slick and I had to re-apply. This has been put in the ever expanding bag of foundations that don't suit my skin such a waste of money! I wish Clinique would provide samples!

This is an excellent foundation that feels lovely to use on the skin and lasts well. It does have a medium coverage which is great and the skin doesn't look caked over. It's your skin but better! However, my skin does have quite a few age spots and acne scars, so for me, I need a foundation with slightly heavier coverage. I would though recommend it for anyone who doesn't need the heavier coverage, and think this would suit any age group too.

Bought this foundation after using samples of the neutral shade and absolutely loved it. Went for the ivory shade, the coverage is amazing, really does even out your skin tone. No redness on cheeks or dark circles under the eyes for me. Being a young mum of 2 at 23 thats exactly what i need! Can become a bit oily later in the day but i just use a sheer powder to combat that which i would do with all other foundations anyway. Have just ordered again, one bottle lasted me from just before xmas to end of march so well worth the money. Feel like i am glowing and so confident when i wear this!

This is a great foundation - if you can get the right shade for your skintone. I love the texture and coverage of this foundation: it isn't too matte or too glittery, it softens lines etc. It seems good for my oily skin, but I can imagine that it would work well with most skin types unless your skin is very dry indeed.I do not have any age spots, but I do have some darker, uneven pigmentation in the centre of my face from previous acne scarring and general trauma to the skin. When I've been using this foundation I can definitely notice that this is alleviated somewhat, so it is doing something!The only reason I don't wear this foundation every day is due to the colour. I have the lightest shade - Alabaster - but it is still just a smidge too dark for my skintone (my normal, untanned, undamaged, non-discoloured skintone that is). When I wear this foundation I find I have to use quite a bit of concealer on top to immediately lighten the centre of my face enough to match the sides (which may be diluting the therapeutic effects of this foundation I fear...) and I also find that I have to put some sort of make-up on my neck and chest to darken them to match my face. I'd rather have a perfect match to my natural skintone to kick off with, so maybe Clinique could consider bringing out more shades, especially a lighter one? I am pale without a suntan, but not abnormally so, there are plenty of people lighter skinned than me, especially Celtic types. (I can tan without burning, but choose not to sun tan). Come on Clinique, this is a great foundation - more shades please! If you can find the right shade for you then I recommend this foundation unreservedly.

I am a new clinique customer and went instore to look at what I could be offered. The woman was very good in finding this foundation to fit my needs. I have the tone "fair" which matches perfectly!! It is a very good foundation, looks very natural but the price of it is a little to much for what it is. Out of everything I bought from the desk this would be the one I will be thinking twice about buying again. I would recommend it though. If you have the money for something like this then I think it is very good but I would definatly go in store to choose the tone if you are new.

I am so happy with the new Even Better Foundation. Having quite red, oily skin, my foundation tends to slide off after only 20 minutes. Not with this stuff. It glides on smoothly and stays put all day. I've even had comments from friends about how good my skin is looking. I feel like I have found a miracle cure. If only the bottles were bigger. This foundation doesn't fall in to the creases on my face and gives me - I never thought I'd say it - a youthful glow. A must for every make-up bag!

I love the way this foundation looks but when i bought it I thought the colour was a bit dark so I mixed it with another brand to lighten it and then bought the Ivory colour, which I thought would be the lightest colour. It is exactly the same colour as the previous bottle, which was supposed to be Fair! I have stood with both colours in the light on my hand in a blob and also rubbing it in and I cannot detect even the slightest difference in colour at all (which means its still too dark!) there are now two bottles in my drawer to mix with another lighter brand to make the correct shade for me. Can Clinique not make a lighter one for we pale and interesting types please?

This is the second foundation ive bought from Clinique (the other was supermoisture makeup in 02 Linen). The shade i bought this foundation in was Alabaster 01,the lightest shade.....or so i thought :(The foundation itself has a wonderful light feel to it,and it doesn't settle into pores, the downside is the shade of colour [which for me was too dark,im pale) and after an hour of wearing it -alone and with powder- it turned a slightly orange colour (i used very little). This was quite disconcerting considering the price.If they made the colour shade lighter i would of loved this foundation, but they dont so im back to my different brand of foundation.

I purchased this only because the superfit that I have been using for 10-11 years has not been available for 6 months. I find the even better much heavier and if you are in a warm environment by mid afternoon it seems to have all fallen off your face (even with the powder to finish it properly). If your laughing or squinting a lot, the even better leaves cracks along all your crows feet, which just serves to highlight your wrinkles. So by late afternoon you look much older than your years, and not very well kept. The colour scheme does not match me very well (despite having 2 Clinique ladies each separately match me to the same one) - I have had comments that I look tanned using the Ivory shade. Will be changing brands before re-purchasing this one again.

pros:

This is the best foundation I've used yet and you really only need a little bit to put on otherwise it can look a bit too heavy but then again I have very light skin so it shows more. It blends nicely and the coverage is excellent and it does stay put. You don't get that patchy "not blended in" flake effect that you ge with some cheaper foundations. Although you pay more this foundation is economically the best in the long run because as I have mentioned you don't need much for each application. I'd buy it again.

Great textured foundation. This foundation doesn't part and gives a good coverage that lasts all day even if you exercise.I've used it for over 4 months and it's made no difference to my pigmentation or skin discolouration.Make sure not to get it on any fabric or bedding as it's stains terribly and does not wash out at all no matter what.

Having been using clinique for several years thought I would try a different one. Wish I hadnt- spent £21 for a very poor foundation. Very thin feeling- seem to have to use a lot, colour match to my existing foundation is much darker although they are both the same number. Also no improvement seen in redness. Will still be buying clinque but going back to the one I had which is the repairwear anti-aging

I am mortified that Clinique has discontinued Alabaster Breeze in Repair Wear foundation which I have used for years and is perfect.So- had to find a new one. Even Better seems the nearest -most other Clinique foundations are for oily skin or provide very sheer coverage. I have only used a sample of this foundation so far, but am impressed. It is a tiny bit too dark even in the palest shade Alabaster However, coverage is decent, and it looks quite natural with more of a sheen than I expected. It feels comfortable on my skin and has stayed put despite being caught in a hail shower! But PLEASE Clinique- can you make foundations in pale shades- I use your City Block spf 40 and have very pale skin- as we are all supposed tobe keeping the UV off our faces, surely there is demand for a medium-full coverage foundation in pale shades for us slightly older English roses?

pros:

I find this product lasts for a long time but it feels very heavy on my skin. The coverage is great for a night out and stays there for most of the night. Unfortunately I find that during the day this is far to heavy and is a waste of an expensive foundation for everyday use. Good if you want flawless coverage for a night out/photographs etc but for an everyday use I wouldn't recommend it.

I have melasma so was very excited to try this foundation as it claims to help make skin tone more even over time, not just in a cosmetic way; whilst the coverage it gives is undeniably good, it looks and feels very heavy on the skin - I really don't like to look like I'm wearing foundation and I definitely did with this. The shade I was matched with in store didn't look right in natural daylight and I couldn't find a suitable shade, so returned it for a refund. Very disappointed.

Having been a fan of Superfit Makeup which has been discontinued I reluctantly persevered with this foundation through a friends recommendations and I am so glad I did. Even Better is the Best by far. But please try this tip when applying use your fingertips and remember minimal amount gives the best coverage. Forget sponges or makeup brushes the fingertip technique works best with this product. I wear cream chamois (4) and many people have remarked on how healthy I look but I am the fan of the new 'precious posy' powder blush and when you combine the two you will see what I mean! I guarantee you will not be disappointed..go treat yourselves summers here!!

This is by far one of the best foundations I've ever used. It's really light-weight to carry around in your handbag also and it comes in such a cute bottle. The foundation itself is moisturising and light on the skin. The coverage initially is moderate but you can build it up to how much you want. I used Superfit foundation which I got in a promotion pack and found it was discontinued - this product was suggested by the consultant to be the best alternative - she was right and she even managed to find the right colour for me, it looks really natural and good to wear even on a hot summer's day. Finding the right foundation for me is a real challenge... I have very oily skin prone to breakouts so with most foundations, it slides off after only a couple of hours. I tried this one recently with a samples for a week and found a noticeable difference from the competitor's product I was using. OK it is not perfect at the end of the day but with such an oily skin, I can't expect miracle. It feels lightweight on the skin, the shade is superb and blends very well with my skin. Best applied with the Clinique brush rather than finger tips. I then use the Stay Matte sheer pressed powder to make it last.

This foundation made my forehead shiny and at the end of the day stuck to my dry patches and the rest wore away. It didn't really 'set' so if I touched my face it would wipe off easily. I bought this instead of the superfit foundation which I loved as it has been discontinued!

I love Clinique Even Better foundation, I am never without foundation, and it is noticeable the difference this foundation makes. I have been wearing it for about 1.5years approx and everyone always comments how well I look.It evens out my pale, washed out skin, with a light texture, it is easy to blend and I have to say I never have a problem with shading over my face. I have just started using this foundation as my other one is discontinued. Excellent coverage, my skin feels soft and as if I am not wearing anything. It looks radiant and healthy. I use a sponge to put it on as I hate the foundation brush, you can easily build up more for the evening. I have fair sensitive skin and I am in my late 50s I think it makes me look younger a bonus at my age. I would recommend this to anyone.

I felt this foundation didn't glide on easily and was expecting brilliant coverage but my imperfections still showed through. I think if I'd gone to a store for advice I might have chosen a better shade - it was a bit too orangey for me as I have very pale skin. I have been using this foundation for a week now and I'm really pleased with the result. I've got melasma and blemishes and tried so many products in the past! This one is one of the best as it's quite light on the skin but covers well. There is no "mask effect", the skin looks fresh. You can built it up easily if needed. I'm using it with the "stay matte sheer pressed powder" and I'm ready for the whole day! I will keep using it and really recommend it for uneven skin. However, try to go to the Clinique shop and ask for advices. I was going to order "honey" online when in fact the best for me was "fair".

I have a bit of a make up addiction and have tried many products from other high street and premium brands. Before finding this product I used to switch around a lot. Previously, I had used the Clinique superbalanced make up but finding they didn't have my colour in the store opted for this product and never looked back.It is easy to apply (I prefer using a brush), and only a very small amount is needed. It gives that dewy appearance that everyone is looking for at the moment, without making your skin greasy or lasting only a short time as I have found with other 'tinted moisturisers'.Starting using this product in my late teens I was keen to find a product that was non-oily and that didn't have a worsening effect on any break outs that I might develop. This product had been very good, covering any blemishes and not clogging up the pores with oil or worsening them.Further, the colour of the make up is very natural to the extent that people have commented on how good my complexion is, and that it appears I don't have any foundation on.

It also lasts extremely well throughout the day, particularly when I used the Stay Matte Pressed Powder on my t-zone.My only criticism is that the Alabaster colour is darker than in the Super Balanced Range, so it was actually too dark for me and made look a little orange. I ended up going to a Clinique counter and getting the right shade!

I originally bought this item in store after hearing raving reviews on the internet. But I have been continuing to purchase online since then. Each tube lasts around 6 months, so it really is value for money in my opinion. It matches my skin tone well, although I need a couple shades lighter than what I would have anticipated - so bear this in mind on purchase; it is easily blendable; and gives suitable coverage. I would have given full marks if the product lasted longer, I personally feel that after a long day working it goes a little patchy in places. Apart from that, this is certainly the most impressive foundation for me.

I got this as a first foundation as a christmas present - I will never buy another! As i have a small face I only need a small amount, and it has lasted me a year. I purchased this a item few weeks ago with high hopes but unfortunately i was dissapointed.When applied, my skin felt suffocated. The texture was really think and my skin become instantly oily and uncomfortable.Although it says suitable for all types of skin i wouldnt recommend if you have oily / combination skin.For ages i have been trying to find a replacement for the Superfit makeup but nothing seems to match up to it.Im going to have to return to using the anti-blemish make up.

Bought it a month ago, after I used Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 in shade 02 (during the summer)...and all I can say is AMAZING! I hate foundation that is visible, but this is far from it. Got a lighter shade(shade 01), since I'm very pale during winter months. I would have liked if there was an even lighter shade. Great coverage, stays all day. NO BREAKOUTS, natural look!!!!! Don't know if it is treating uneven skin tone, but it does cover hyper-pigmentation.

I recieved this foundation today. I was hoping it would be a good buy because at £23 that is a high price! I chose the shade ivory because im very fair skinned and Im glad I did choose ivory because I found a lot of the darker shades in this foundation too harsh and dark. The foundation gives good coverage on the skin and covers dark circles pretty well. The only thing im not fussed on is how the foundation leaves my skin looking quite shiny and greasy which I dont like so I have to put powder on after the foundation to get rid of the shine. Overall a really good buy

I am in my mid thirties and kids, late nights and bad habits have started to show on my skin. I have a normal complexion but am prone to the odd breakout. Even Better is the only foundation that covers up all my sins and leaves me looking fresh faced no matter what.The really amazing thing to me is that Even Better gives such good coverage but never looks heavy. When I see photos of myself wearing it, I honestly admire my own skin which is quite embarassing to admit, but true.I would recommend this product to absolutely anyone who isn't happy with their skin, I use it with the Clinique loose powder and believe me when I say i have tried almost every foundation out there and this is the best bar none.

I have very pale skin so it's very hard to find a foundation that matches, but this was a really nice match. However, having pale skin means blemishes and scarring tends to look a lot worse. I feel this foundation has quite a light coverage rather than 'Moderate to Full' like it suggests and I can very rarely use this on it's own. It does have a nice dewey finish and makes my skin look quite bright. I've used this for around 2 years now and only purchased it twice so it does last a long time, however I don't think I will purchase again and I'm just not 100% happy with it. Great for those who already have fairly clear skin and don't want a heavy foundation.

I was recommended this foundation at the Clinique counter by a Clinique consultant. I was given a sample to try out the formula and colour & it was a perfect match! I have dry skin, and this is wonderful for it! Lovely and a dewy finish, but gives a beautiful glow on the skin! The coverage is amazing and lasts all day! You can build it up with out looking cakey! This foundation hides my rosie cheeks perfectly! Not forgetting the packaging of the foundation is perfect for travelling!

I use the complete coverage foundation when I have time to brush it on and make sure it's even, but have this foundation to hand for when I'm in a real hurry. Tiny amount goes a long way and it's light and easy to blend in with fingers. Sometimes I'll have a blemish that I need to put extra concealer on, but it does cover most and even's skin tone. Skin always feels moisturised and not bogged down with product.

Thought I'd treat myself to an all singing all dancing foundation that is suppossed to cover shadows. Have to say was a bit sceptical but as soon as I used it I saw a difference. It goes on easily and evenly. Doesn't feel tight and it lasts - I worked a 12 hr shift in A&E and it still looked good at the end of the day. Definitely worth the extra money from my usual foundation

If you suffer from redness and uneven skin tone try this product, it gives a good coverage and completely evens your skin tone, your skin will look bright and dewey and this look will last all day. A small amount blended on your fingers is plenty to give that even look, it doesn't cake up and gives a smooth natural coverage. It doesn't seem to rub off throughout the day. A very good buy.

I wanted to change my foundation to Clinique and I was given a 5 days trial of this as it was full coverage and suitable for greasy skin...or not as the case may be!! The coverage is really poor, it is certainly not a moderate to full coverage and my skin is shiny and ver greasy after using it today. I have to say am very disappointed as I use loads of other Clinique products and they are brilliant but this one is not, glad I didn't buy a bottle!!

I have a very yellow tint to my skin, and a rather uneven skin tone on my face, so have problems when trying to find a foundation. I have never tried clinique products before, however went to a counter and tried colour 26 cashew and it was a perfect match. The coverage is also amazing - evened out my skin tone and covered all blemishes and red spots and still managed to look totally natural. It gave me a perfect complexion! It does not look or feel like you have a full face of makeup on, incredibly light to wear. I even accidentally left it on overnight and woke up with clearer skin than the night before! Best foundation I've ever come across. Works fantastically with the 3 step skin care routine as well.
