Step 1: Hydrate & plump. Start by applying a thin layer of Moisture Surge™ 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator to cleansed, exfoliated skin. With a hydrating complex of hyaluronic acid and aloe vera bioferment, it delivers instant hydration, leaving skin plump, dewy and perfectly primed for makeup.
Step 2: Protect & prime.The most important step in any daytime routine is SPF. If you’re looking for an effective sunscreen that sits well under makeup, our experts recommend Superdefense™ City Block SPF 50. Formulated with a blend of mineral and chemical sunscreens, this lightweight, oil-free SPF hydrates and protects, leaving a radiant, glowing finish and a subtle hint of tint. Apply the equivalent of 1 tsp of sunscreen all over the face and neck, blend, then leave to dry before applying any makeup.
Step 3: Sunless bronze. For a natural-looking, just-back-from-holiday glow, our Sun-Kissed Face Gelee Complexion Multitasker is hard to beat. It’s a sheer, hydrating gel bronzer that blends seamlessly into skin with no tell-tale shimmer or orangey tint. Melis and Iram both apply directly to the cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, blending quickly with fingertips.
Step 4: Add a little coverage. Next, apply a half-pump of Even Better Clinical™ Serum Foundation SPF 20 on the back of your hand, before blending into the skin using a foundation buff brush. A little goes a long way, providing buildable medium coverage with a blurred satin-matte finish.
Step 5: Sculpt & define. Our signature creamy Chubby Sticks™ make it easy to add depth and definition to your complexion, while still looking natural and radiant. Start by tracing the Chubby Stick™ Sculpting Contour around the temples, under the cheekbones, along the jawline and down the sides of the nose, blending well with fingertips or a tapered brush.
Step 6: Sun-flushed blush. To create a healthy, outdoorsy flush like Melis’s, apply Chubby Stick™ Cheek Colour Balm in shade Amp’d Up Apple above the cheekbones and across the bridge of the nose, blending with a brush or fingertips. Finally, add a lit-from-within glow with the light-reflecting Chubby Stick™ Sculpting Highlighter, applying to the high points of the face and blending well.
Step 7: Finishing touches. Enhance your natural features with a touch of mascara and a little lip tint.
