“To create this soft glam look on my beautiful Mama, I began with freshly cleansed skin and used the Clinique Smart Clinical Repair™ SPF 30 Wrinkle Correcting Cream to hydrate. This moisturiser has quite a unique texture that really smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and I love that it contains SPF 30. I followed with the Even Better™ Light Reflecting Primer which gives a soft luminescence to skin, while ensuring makeup stays put.”

“Next up, I shade matched her foundation. For my Mama I sometimes go a little warmer than her skin tone, but on this occasion I found the best match to her neck and décolletage as I wanted the foundation to look completely natural. We went for shade Alabaster in the Even Better Clinical™ Serum Foundation SPF20.

“This foundation instantly smooths the look of the complexion and gives a lovely coverage while still being lightweight and feeling fresh. I love that it contains skin-caring ingredients, including vitamin C which is such an essential super ingredient for skin brightness and protection.”

“To warm up the complexion and lightly sculpt, I applied Clinique Sun-Kissed Face Gelee Complexion Multitasker with a brush, buffing this over the top of the foundation on the high points of the face – top of forehead, cheekbones etc. Chubby Sticks™ are quick and easy to use – they’re always in my handbag. We went for shade Pumped Up Peony to give the sort of fresh flush that looks like it’s come from a brisk walk.”

“My mum has beautiful deep-set eyes, so I wanted to focus on adding definition and drama along the lash line. This is a technique that also works well on hooded eye shapes too. I used the new High Impact Shadow Play™ Shadow + Definer in shades Day + Night and Rum + Cola, first applying the cream shadow stick and blending that to soften, then on top I applied the powdered eyeshadow end to add depth and drama. I further defined the outer lash line with Clinique’s High Impact™ Easy Liquid Liner, followed with lashings of High Impact High-Fi™ Full Volume Mascara.”
